Since its début in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has developed into one of the most important gatherings for the music world and shows how a superabundant musical line-up can be allied with music business interests and civil society engagement.
As well as concerts by international artists, the festival schedule also includes performances from the fields of visual arts or virtual reality, and a thematically diverse film and literature programme. The central hub for this is the Festival Village on the Heiligengeistfeld.
This year the interactive exhibition »(IN)BETWEEN« enters its third round at the Reeperbahn Festival 2022. As an interface between music and graphic design, the exhibition combines the heterogeneous character of the festival in several overseas containers filled with a screen installation made especially for the festival.
The topic of this year's exhibition is: DIGITAL COVER ARTWORKS (artwork file: 3000 x 3000px, no photos / repro)
In order to be able to show as up-to-date a range of digital cover atworks as possible, we have created a free open call. With this Open Call we call upon designers from all over the world to submit their digital covers. Digital music covers of all genres that have been designed and published in the period from 01.01.2020 — 31.08.2022 can be submitted. Entries are free!
The submitted Covers will be made accessible to the public in the form of a screen installation during the Reeperbahn Festival 2022 on the Heiligengeistfeld in Hamburg. In addition, there will be a print publication in which all the entries will be reproduced.
Spread the word and become part of this year's Reeperbahn Festival.
